Global Wine Trade

HermanWines is a globally operating wine import and export company that has been in the Herman family for 3 generations and over 90 years (founded in 1929).

Perfectly located on the Dutch and Belgium border (The Netherlands side) and just a few hours away from some of the most important European wine growing regions like Champagne, Burgundy, Loire and the Mosel valley, just to name some.

Also, just 30 minutes away from the port of Antwerp and less than 1.5 hours away from Europe's biggest seaport in Rotterdam and airport in Amsterdam.

Almost all our wines are transported by temperature controlled trucks or containers. The wines are stored in our own 3000m2 (up to 1 million bottles) fully climatized warehouse in order to guarantee the highest possible quality. In the warehouse we maintain 24/7/365 a very stable 12.5 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of >60%, special led lighting and vibration-free floors.. this is unique on this scale.

We buy/ import wines from all the main European wine countries but also from the new wine world. Mostly direct from the wineries but we also work with reputable négotiants and traders. We sell/ export to restaurants, hotels and private clients in The Netherlands and/ or Belgium (some wines are exclusively sold to clients in one of these two or both markets). We have an extensive business in global wine trade and we are the exclusive distributor for some wineries/ brands in select countries in Asia and the Americas.
